President Gao Weijuan Meets with BLCU President Liu Li and His Party

On the afternoon of July 23, President Gao Weijuan met with President Liu Li of Beijing Language and Culture University（BLCU）and his party. The two sides held friendly talks on cooperation.
President Gao Weijuan extended a warm welcome to President Liu Li and his party, and introduced HUCM development history, personnel training, discipline Building, international exchanges and cooperation, etc. She hoped the two universities would jointly promote the international communication of Chinese and TCM culture by giving a full play to their professional advantages with this opportunity of close cooperation in between.
Besides the basic situation of BLCU, President Liu Li also introduced the achievements in international exchanges and cooperation. he hoped to build an international TCM communication base with our university by fully taking the advantages of BLCU in resources, talent team and brand characteristics, so as to better promote the international TCM communication.
At the meeting, the two sides conducted in-depth discussions on specific cooperation such as joint training of international students, building TCM curriculum, TCM cultural experience, teacher training and overseas visits. President Liu Li and his party also visited the ancient books reading room of the library, experienced acupuncture, Tuina and other TCM treatment techniques in our National Medicine Hall.
