HUCM Attends Hebei-Guangdong-Macao Traditional Chinese Medicine Cooperation Forum

On May 18, Hebei-Guangdong-Macao Traditional Chinese Medicine Cooperation Forum, hosted by Hebei Health Commission, Provincial Department of Commerce and Hebei Administration of TCM, supported by the Health Bureau of the Macao SAR government and the Guangdong Provincial Administration of TCM, was held in Langfang. The forum is to build a new platform for TCM cooperation among Hebei, Guangdong and Macao, to explore a new mechanism for the normalization of TCM foreign exchange and cooperation in Hebei Province, and to demonstrate the new achievements of high-quality, integrated and open development of TCM in the three regions. Gao Weijuan, President of HUCM, Sun Shijiang, deputy secretary of HUCM and Party Secretary of the First Affiliated Hospital, as well as relevant personnel from the International Office and School of Pharmacy attend the meeting. The meeting is presided over by Liu Yanhong, Deputy Director of the Hebei Administration of TCM. Leaders of health and TCM departments in three regions delivered speeches respectively. Professor Liu Liang, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and President of Macao University of Science and Technology (MUST) delivered keynote speech.
President Gao Weijuan introduce the TCM cooperation and exchange with MUST and other countries and regions, and say that our university will continue to deepen and expand exchanges and cooperation with Guangdong and Macao, strengthen academic exchanges, deepen scientific research cooperation, close personnel exchanges, make full use of the forum, build a comprehensive cooperation and exchange mechanism betwen Yanzhao and Lingnan TCM, and be committed to the TCM inheritance and innovation.
Sun Shijiang introduce the basic situation and achievements of the first affiliated hospital in recent years, as well as the relevant cooperation progress and needs of the cooperation.
At the meeting, our university, together with MUST and Anguo TCM Museum Management Co., Ltd., signe the cooperative research on the description of the varieties to be replaced in Angelica dahurica and Atractylodes macrocephala ISO standards.
