On June 11, the vice President of New Zealand College of Chinese medicine, Peter Coddington, visited our university together with his delegation.
President Gao Weijuan and vice president Zhang Mingli met with the delegation, gave a warm welcome to their visit, hoped that the two universities could strengthen communication in cooperation in running schools and academic exchanges, and to promote the pragmatic cooperation between each other.
Vice president Zhang Mingli and vice president Peter Coddington introduced the basic situation of both universities, and exchanged views on strengthening scientific research cooperation, mutual visits between teachers and students, and building Confucius classrooms of traditional Chinese medicine. The two sides agreed that the two universities share similar development direction of disciplines and have broad space for cooperation in scientific research. Vice President Zhang Mingli and vice President Peter signed the memorandum of cooperation on behalf of the two universities respectively.
The guests also visited the 3D meridian acupoint teaching platform, the life science museum, the pulse diagnosis laboratory, the Chinese herbal medicine processing inherit base, the medicinal botanical garden and other places, and gave high evaluation of our university.
