Recently, over 10 undergraduates majored in TCM and Acupuncture and Tuina and the responsible people in HUCM have been in New Zealand for teaching practice and academic exchanges. Teachers and students visited the New Zealand School of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, and extended exchanges. They had a in-depth discussion with Acupuncture NZ president and New Zealand School of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine graduates on curriculum, basic theory of TCM, pathogenesis and mechanism, practical teaching methods, clinical procedures, teaching evaluation, doctor-patient relationship, physician management, disease spectrum and etc. Teachers and students also attended lectures, visited Auckland Beijing Chinese Medicine Center, Shunhetang Chinese Medicine Clinic and other institutions. Students not only took courses of acupuncture, massage, diagnosis, and formulae, but also took part in practical activities such as clinic internship, attending forum and so on.
